I spent years in graduate school and taught critical thinking to college students, so I don’t skimp on research or fact-checking, and compliance is always top of mind.
My copy is heavily focused on the audiences you want to attract. Yes, highlighting your wins and positioning your brand is important, but you know what really sets you apart in this space? Making 95% of your messaging about your customers, not your company.
How do we do #2 effectively? By increasing our situational awareness of the real humans behind the government acronyms. I use my storytelling skills as an award-winning novelist to go beyond product descriptions and data sheets—because showing customers you’re genuinely invested in their mission matters.

I’m a proud military brat and eldest daughter of a career officer in the U.S. Army, so government terminology is a first language. I also understand the deeper needs, challenges, and desires of those who defend our nation, and most importantly, I care.
After honing my writing skills through graduate studies in ethics at Duke University and history at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, I spent over a decade working in education, nonprofits, and government.
Moving into B2G Marketing is the culmination of my diverse work experiences in the Public Sector, which have given me the human-centric insight needed to speak to your customer's mission and help your business grow.
